1st Day

Santa Marta Monpox

310km – 5h Ride

100% Concrete Road

 

Departure from Colombian Riders base : 9am. We drive 3 hours in the morning with a 30 minutes break. We have lunch between “Fundacion” and “Bosconia”

before driving another couple of hours. We then reach Mompox, an authentic colonial city and sleep in cosy hotel near the river.

2nd Day

  • Mompox – Bucaramanga
  • 350km – 6h30 Ride
  • 100% Flat Concrete Road – 20% Mountains

Departure from Mompox at 8.30 am. We drive as much as possible in the morning. We reach Bucaramanga before Sunset and eat in one of the best Colombian Pizza in Bucaramanga. We stay in hotel with swimming pool

3rd Day

  • Bucaramanga – San Gil
  • 100km – 2h20h Ride
  • 100% Flat Concrete Road – 20% Mountains

Departure from Bucaramanga at 8.30 am. We cross the marvellous canyon of Chicamocha and its curvy roads. We reach San Gil for Lunch leave our bags at Hostel Isabella and go for some a offroad motorbiking in the mountains of San Gil. We sleep in the Finca at the top of a mountain, enjoy vegetarian dinner and admire the sunset before resting.

4th Day

  • San Gil – Barichara – San Gil
  • 50km – 2h Ride
  • 100% Mountains

Departure from San Gil at 9 am for Barichara, an authentic colonial village very well preserved, on the edge of a cliff with an incredible view of the valley.

In the Afternoon We come back to San gil for a 2h Canyoning session before sleeping at the same Finca.

5th Day

  • San Gil – Villa de Leyva
  • 165km – 3h50 Ride
  • 100% Mountains

Departure from San Gil at 9 am for Villa de Leyva, another authentic colonial village higher in the mountains. Its city main place, famous across Colombia, is one of the best rated place in Tripadvisor.

We enjoy a walk in its typical streets made of pavement, and we will eat the best bandeja paisa of town.

6th Day

  • Villa de Leyva – Zipaquira
  • 140km – 2h30 Ride
  • 100% Mountains concrete road

Departure from Villa de Leyva at 9am, we will head in a colder weather (use jacket)to Zipaquira and visit its stunning Catherdral of Salt in the afternoon.

6th Day

  • Zipaquira – Guatavita- Chorrera
  • 150km – 3h45 Ride
  • 50% Mountains concrete road
  • 2h Hike

We wake up in Zipquirea and head to Guatavita, a lagoon near the Paramo, origin of the eldorado myth !

After the hike we will head to the Chorrera, one of the highest Waterfall in Colombia. We will camp there before reaching Bogota the next Day.

7th Day

  • Chorrera – Bogota
  • 80km – 4hRide
  • 50% Mountains concrete road – 50% City

We wake up in  Guatavita, and start going down the mountains to arrive in Bogota 2h later. We will witness a panoramic view of Bogota and visits the mains touristic places accessible in Moto such as the Candelaria or Guadalupe

We will then have a last meal together finish the tour by 5pm

    • Hicimos un Tour de 2 días y 1 noche, en moto por los caminos de Minca y de su sierra, y por Tayrona para hacer un poco de surf. Pasamos noche en hámacas a 1300m. La experiencia ha sido muy buena, y Adrien es un gran profesional, siempre esforzando en que la experiencia sea buena, divertida y llena de aventura. 100% recomendable!

    • Il faisait assez chaud mais nous avons vraiment passé une excellente journée. Le choix des activités est assez large, plutôt sportif. Adrien parle espagnol, anglais et français (pour les autres langues je ne sais pas) ce qui permet une excellente communication quelque soient les membres du groupe. Vraiment super !
